This course would treat the essentials of climate science and climate change from human society perspectives. The course examines climate change, its drivers, underlying science, impacts and related-policy and technological responses. Climate change is discussed from the natural and social science perspectives and situated within the context of sustainable development. The course, which is targeted at policy professionals and decision-makers in the private and public sectors is divided into appropriate modules.
